William Moulton
William Moulton was born in England in about 1620. On April 11, 1637, at seventeen years old, he came to America landing at Newbury, Massachusetts, near the Merrimac River from Ormsby, Norfolk County, England. He came with Robert Page and his family as a servant. They all lived in Newbury for about a year before moving to Winnacunnett, now Hampton, NH, in 1639 settling near John and Thomas Moulton (William's brothers). William married Robert Page' s daughter, Margaret, in about 1651.
He obtained ten acres of land and was made a freeman on October 3, 1654.
The Moulton families were numerous and scattered far and wide.
The goal is to connect living descendants and gather information about these ancient pioneers.
This site will be updated as additional information is gathered.
